Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his part in the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Since his time at college Christopher Meloni has always been fascinated by the world of acting. He pursued a degree in acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. He has appeared in both films and television, but it was his smaller-screen roles which gained him fame as well as an enormous audience. He's been able to easily play characters on both sides of the law to grab an audience's focus. He was the role of a serial killer in his debut television show and then later played an NYPD detective. He's been nominated numerous times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen appearances. His piercing blue eyes his eyes are thought to be his most attractive feature. These have been used for portraying rough characters, as well as give them a sense of humour. People's magazine's 2006 list for Sexiest Men Alive included him.
