Dua Lipa was born on 22nd August 1995 in London, United Kingdom. The self-titled debut album was released in 2017, after she been signed by Warner Bros Records. It reached the third spot in the U.K. album chart, and featured eight singles with the most notable being U.K. top ten hit song New Rules and Be the One. I.D.G.A.F. Lipa has been awarded Brit Awards for 2018 in category of British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act. Furthermore, the platinum-certified album is a coveted honor across multiple countries. Future Nostalgia's sophomore album was released in the year 2020. It's time to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dua Lipa here. Dua Lipa was born at the age of 18 in London with Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). She is of Bosnian origin by her mother's grandmother. Her family tree can be identified back to Peja, the Kosovo town of Peja. Lipa's grandparents were both historians. There are two sisters, Rina Gjin and Gjin. Lipa's musical influences came from her father, who is the guitarist and singer of Kosovan Rock band Oda. The family home where Lipa grew up, was one in which her father would play music from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics The Police Stereophonics. Lipa started singing at the age of was 5 years old. At the age of nineteen, she started singing at Sylvia Young Theater School. Lipa sang Beautiful by Christina Aguilera as well as If Ain't Got You from Alicia Keys. Lipa's record contract to Warner Bros. Records was announced in the year 2014. The first single she released was New Love was released in August of 2015.
